Had the best phone call today from the winner of a Red State/ Blue State game. Holly Kerkes, a fifth grade teacher from Chappelow K-8 Arts and Literacy Magnet School in Greeley, CO, called to tell me that her students love Red State/ Blue State. Holly heard us on the Amy Oliver Show on 1310 KFKA and played the game on air. She answered a question correctly and had her name entered into a drawing for a free game. She said that she has her students play the game as teams. She stated that the game is
multidimensional; her students are not only learning history and geography, but math as well, since they have to keep track of how many electoral votes they've won. This conversation was truly rewarding and inspiring. Tyler and I are so happy that Holly and her students are having so much fun with Red State/ Blue State!
